2011 Guild Meeting Schedule
All meetings are held at the Metamora Library from 4 to 7:30, unless otherwise noted. Come any time you can make it, or stay the entire time. Bring your spinning wheels, knitting needles, crochet hooks, fiber to share, trade, or sell, other fiber related projects, or just yourself for a good visit. You may also bring a beverage and dinner if you wish.

December 13 -sometimes this meeting is at a members house for a Christmas gathering. If that is the case, it will be posted here.

Hi Sandra,
I did a quick search for local yarn shops and spinning groups. I found this link to a Mt. Pleasant group. I seem to remember running into one of their members at a wool festival awhile back. Good luck. Get back to me if this doesn’t work out. We have contacts.

Hi,
I am so excited to see that ther is a local spinning guild! I have been crocheting for 35 years! I raise alpacas and want to learn to make my own yarn from my own animals! I am so looking forward to the next meeting!

I was such a pleasure meeting everyone at the August 2010 meeting. What a wonderful group! I was looking forward to the September meeting until I realized that I have an event to attend up north. I look forward to the October meeting. See everyone then. Please send an email if there are any special happenings for the October meeting I would need to know about.

Hi all,
I finally bought a wheel! Any chance i could get some help learning to spin at the November meeting? I will also have some auburn/brown suri fiber for sale at a very good price if anyone wants to experiment with it….

Judy and I met at the Metamora library. I was spinning. Getting ready for the Genesse Co. Fair. Judy was starting a pair of socks. Hope to see more of you soon. Sherry
